this virus was found in this file, platin.exe which seems to be Panda AntiVirus’ exe file. Is this a false alarm…? I don’t use Panda, think I may have used their online scanner once or twice a year or so ago. Cheers.

Yes, it seems to be a false Alarm, but the file you mentioned is AFAIK the name of the Trialversion of Pandas Platinum version and do not belong to the onlinescanner.
Dont worry the thing happened to me quite a while ago. I also think that it is just some weird thing.
