Win32:Cycler-Q

Hi

My Avast antivirus came up with a warning about a Win32:Cycler-Q Trojan virus on my computer earlier.

I’ve done a Malwarebytes scan but it didn’t come up with anything and I’m currently doing another avast scan.

When the original warning came up I think it was in the java temp file, I couldn’t delete it or move to chest as it came up with a message saying ‘Cannot access this file’. I Didn’t manage to write it down the files location as Malware required me to reset.

As Ive been doing the Avast! Scan:
It found the Win32:Cycler-Q file in the Google Chrome temp files. (will post the exact location after the scan is complete, forgot to write it down before putting in chest)

During the scan another one has come up: Win32:MalOb-AS
C:\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Ocq.exe
and also Oce.exe

With all of these I have managed to move to chest

It hasn’t seemed to affect anything, e.g no pop up ads, like I’ve read some other people have been experiencing.

I disconnected from the internet straight away to stop any personal info being sent.

Just wondering what is the best way to remove it?

Also I’ve backed up any important personal files on to my external hard drive. Will those hard drives be safe from the virus? Should I disconnect them? I need to do some video editing on the computer but worried about using the external hard drives on it.

I’m half temped to format my computer and reinstall everything but if theres a simpler and quicker way to fix it or if now there in the chest its safe to delete/deal with them that that would be great.

Thanks for any help or advice, much appreciated.

Will let you know the exact location of where the Win32:Cycler-Q once my scan is complete.

i have to tell you that Win32:Cycler-Q is a kind of keylogger i am searching for a solution
