Win32:Cycler-T

Avast keeps finding this puppy on my PC. I delete it or move it to chest and it keeps coming back. On top of running a Avast scan and removing it I also ran a Malware bytes full scan on the most recent update and it found 8 types of maleware and deleted those as well. The virus seems to always be in the folder C:\Windows\Temp and the infected files name is cxtxxx.exe where xxx is a random number. Anyways I would appreciate any help getting rid of this annoying bug once and for all. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is my Hijack This! log file:

If it keeps coming back, there is likely to be an undetected or hidden element to the infection that restores or downloads the file again. What is your firewall ?

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it and report the findings (it should product a log file).

Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
Also available a portable version of SAS, http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html, no installation required.

I have just regular windows firewall on. I checked it and it working fine. (I know to do this becuase Ive had viruses on past computers that actually where able to disable my firewall! :o ) I will install SUPERantispyware as you recommended and see if it finds anything Avast and Malwarebyes missed. I also notice that sometimes the infected file in temp goes by the names cvtxxx.exe as well (again xxx = a random number) Ill run full scans and report the logs later tonight after work. Thanks for the help!

OK, the windows vista firewall whilst it has outbound protection, it is disabled by default (unless you turned it on) so it shouldn’t get in the way.

Welcome to the forums, m1rock

Your HJT log does not show anything to worry about after using 2 different analyzers.
