Win32:Delf-KNC [Trj]

I am not a great computer whizz…
Can someone PLEASE help me?
I have free avast! Home Edition 4.8
I have received a warning that a Trojan Horse was found: Win32:Delf-KNC [trj]
I cannot move it to chest or delete ???
The warning keeps popping up…
I tried to delete the file name, but it keeps making a new one…

I also ran the VRDB generator and the avast! Virus Cleaner, but the virus cannot scan ANY file in C or D!
I also can’t find anything on this particular virus in the forum.
What to do???

Anyone?

Have you tried a boot time scan?

Right click the scanner screen, select ‘schedule a boot time scan’ and reboot when requested.

What will this boot time scan do? Please be patient, I’m an absolute novice in this…
Thanks so much for trying to help.

Everything is fine now. phew…
I did the scheduled time boot scan. I had to do this 3 times though!
Don’t know either what option is best when it comes up with the infected files and how to treat them.
“press 1 for no action”
“press 2 to move to chest”
“press 3 to delete”…

I just deleted all.

I had to schedule the time boot scan 3 times though!!
Very tough trojan.

Thanks though for the advice and taking the time for me.
I was a bit nervous ;D
Cheers,
Bennito!

Choose wrong… sorry. Sending to Chest is safer and allow further investigation. You can restore the file also.
For system files, the safer will be let it there and try to find a way to restore back a Windows original file. Otherwise, you may avoid booting/logon and won’t be able to load the operational system.
