I’m sorry. I know this is not the place for false alarms, but I can’t figure out where to post this.
Avast Home (latest edition, today’s definitions file, etc.) has flagged the Student Management Systems server.exe program from Rosetta Stone Home School Edition as being Win32:Enteos. I’m quite confident that it is not, especially since the program is still running.
I will post additional information when I am back at home. (My son called me at work.)
My question is what information would you need to be able to differentate this program from the malicious program? I can send several types of checksums, etc.
The home and pro version use the same scanning engine and signatures updates. The pro version however, allows for push updates and even greater flexibility and configurability.
For sure you’ll be helping development as you’ve supporting them to keep the free Home version. Welcome to avast forums! Feel free to come back any time you need help or just to change experiences 8)
