Win32:Evo-gen report when installing Java update?

Dear Forum,
I’ve just had an avast warning from Avast saying it’s blocked me from installing - Win32:Evo-gen
It appears to have occurred while updating latest version of java - but can’t really be sure of course

  • is this a “false positive”? Thanks in advance if you can advise,
