Not sure if anyone has come across this yet but after updating Avast is flagging a Spore (EA Game) .exe as a virus. I have the game on two different drives and it flagged it on both drives. I’m assuming it’s a false positive but just checking to be sure. I uploaded the file to virus total and the analysis is green across the board.
I also ran a scan with an updated Malware Bytes and nothing was found.

Right click on the file in virus chest and choose send to virus lab,then choose False positive in the form.
Done. Is it safe to say this is a false positive?
To find out, upload the file to www.virustotal.com (if tested before, click new scan)

This is definitely a false positive.
I think this will be fixed very soon.
