Win32:Fasec [Tjn] in temp int files....

Hi everybody!! i’ve just downloaded a file and was a trojan in temporary internet files…avast said that was in this folder but as soon as i tried to delete it the folder didn’t exist anymore…can someone help me???

this is my log file from combofix…but this program doesn’t scan or do anything on windows vista…i try now with hijackthis and i’ll post the log file…anyway for now this is the log from combofix(i’m sorry but it’s in italian ^^’ )

The win32:fasec is a fake security alert, commonly antivirus 2009 or similar wording and the symptom being fake security alerts. avast can detect a number of these but if you are still getting the alerts there may be other elements.

People (well me) don’t like having to go off the forum to get files, .log files can actually be attached to the posts. Or we can use the copy and paste option, but you may need to break a log into more than one post.

If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode and report the findings (it should product a log file).

  1. SUPERantispyware On-Demand only in free version.
  2. MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, On-Demand only in free version http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/malwarebytes/mbam-setup.exe, right click on the link and select Save As or Save File (As depending on your browser), save it to a location where you can find it easily later.
