just discovered Win32:Inex in a seldom used executable on my machine. i can’t find any information about it on the net. what exactly does it do?

full pathname is: C:\Program Files\Rational\Jhost.exe

Sounds like the Biware32/J-TCP Server to me. What do online scanners say about it? Or spy-/adware removers?

i already removed the file so i can’t run a different scanner on it.

trendmicro and bazooka had nothing. google only finds japaneese pages.

If this was real, or a false positive is now difficult to say, if you deleted it…

Best do a full thorough system scan (archive-scan enabled) with avast and some onlinescanners (see “VirusRemoval” below)
