Win32:Kates-AC Trojan

I am constantly getting the pop-up saying a trojan horse blocked.

In a matter of 5 minutes just looking on this site and checking my e-mail i have had 10 pop-ups.

Object: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\dpfhow.old
Infection: Win32:Kates-AC [Trj}
Action: Moved to chest
Process: C:\WINDOWS\ststem32|HPZjpm12.exe

I am guessing this is a virus that needs to be removed.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me crazy.

Thank you!

Thanks for all your input.

I have downloaded Malwarebytes and there were no viruses found
I have also downloaded Solo Virus Scan. This scan found 2 virus.
hpokpy08 and hpocpy08.
Both of these were deleted.

Both of these have not fixed the problem. I am still getting the trojan pop-up.

Thanks!

Good News!

I ran the bootscan and I was able to clean the entire virus off my computer.

Thank you all for your input!

good to here that avast was able to clean your computer from the Trojan with a boot scan, you could also adding superantispyware for an second option for sometimes it fines things malwarebytes does an sometimes malwarebytes finds things superantispyware don’t and the work well with avast.
