does anyone know if avast will detect the win32 lechuck??

I don’t know because there is no convention in naming malware it may have a different name from one AV to another and it may come in a number of different file names. So there is no way to directly compare.

im not infected, but i have a friend with this virus in a USB, and i m afraid to run the USB in my computer,
