I’m currently using Avast! Home Edition and its totally up-to-date.
I’ve scanned my computer for viruses several time due to virus-like occurrences.
It had come up with “Win32: Maleware-gen.”
I keep moving it to chest, but it keeps coming back.
I’ve done all the types of scans and nothing seems to be working.
How can I remove this for good?
Any help is appreciated!

i suggest you do a boot scan and send anything avast finds to the chest from there.
i would also suggest you do a scan with malwarebytes antimalware for a second opion.

for the malwarebytes download, install, update and do a scan and don’t forget to remove what it finds. Reboot of the system might be necessary.
