Win32:Malware.gen (Im confused,please help...thanks!)

.Hi! Im an Avast User…today I have full system scan and it found a virus “Win32:Malware.gen”
…I did not moved it to the virus chest because i delete it directly, and it has been remove succesfully…My question is,
Is my PC safe now? Did i do the right thing to delete it directly…?? please, im kinda confused…i hope u can help me…thanks in advance :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Did you see the users other post, where an apparently related trojan apparently respawned itself after being quarantined?

Yes, I saw later ;D Avast can not make a huge damage.

I personally use Avast for a long time, I’ve never had a problems.

Avast not deleted windows files, this is important.

Yes, it’s important, but it’s not the only element of this issue that’s important.
What about the re-spawning possibility?
