Hi, I’m getting these popups from Avast aprox. every five minutes.
It’s in spanish, but I think that you’ll get the idea (ask me if you don’t understand something).
I’m also attaching the required logs.
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply!
I ran the OTL fix but it freezeed after a while, so I had to reboot. Is this normal?
I’ll be doing it again tonight, I need to leave right now and I don’t know if it will take too long to complete.
If need be run combofix from safe mode
I ran the OTL scan again after the crashed fix and got this log.
Should I run ComboFix now or try to do the OTL fix again?
Try combofix now please, from safe mode if need be
Attaching the log.
Thanks for your help, I’m not getting those pop-ups anymore!
Any other problems
Now that you mention…
I can’t start Windows Firewall, I’m trying from services list (it used to give me an error code but now it doesn’t).
I can’t start some other services such as the ones needed to use the Windows Homegroup function. I get an “error 0x80070005” on that.
It won’t let me download Windows updates, I get a “code 80246008” error on that.
OK lets check them out next

Could you click the Globe under my Avatar, that will take you to my skydrive.
I have uploaded there for you a BITS registry file
Download that to your desktop
Right click BITS.reg and select merge
Accept the warnings
Reboot and try updates again
It’s working! Thank you very much for your help and patience, sir.
Any further problems before I remove my tools ?
