Win32:Malware-gen

  1. How was it detected? Background scan. It came up as a file shield alert, and I was not downloading anything. The infection is Win32:Malware-gen.
  2. What was the source of the file? According to avast, it is automatically downloading into this folder: C:\Windows\Installer{3c42eb88-3e76-c42f-e757-e3ec8d556822}\U
  3. When was it downloaded? Unknown, file shield is randomly popping it open.
  4. File name and extensions: 0000000cd.@, 00000004.@, 00000008.@, 80000000.@,80000032.@,80000064.@
  5. Exact pop-up message: Various, it always says Maclicous URL Blocked or it says Trojan Horse Detected.
  6. Scan the file?: Done, it moves it to chest like normal, but the file always comes right back.
7)Used VirusTotal as indicated in the steps. here is the MD5: 1b9b865be9020f591a273cb37bc0ee3d
The virus name is Win32:Malware-gen and its infection is coming from C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.msc according to Avast. When avast attempts to remove the file, it prompts us to reboot, but when we reboot it comes right back. This randomly started happening a couple of days ago and has been freezing the computer quite a bit. It causing alot of issues and I have tried so many solutions from Google. Avast is the only AV on my computer. We also have malwayrebytes but it also cannot remove it as well.
