Win32:Mobogenie-O (Adw)

In my netbook, I found out that when I click “Quick Scan”, it found 1 virus and it is the file named “daemonprocess.exe” and it’s labeled “Win32:Mobogenie-O (Adw)”. When I try to take action on these using “Repair”, “Delete”, and “Fix automatically”, the error popped up and it said “This action is not supported”. Any help about this virus?

what is the location of the file? ..... full file path

is any browser open when you try to remove it?

upload and test daemonprocess.exe www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com if tested before, click rescan for a fresh result

follow instructions in the guide Eddy posted link to and attach requested logs

mobiegenie is adware

I just do not know what path can I type to find daemonprocess.exe. I will tell you later when I found it. But when it was detected, I cannot see the specific path where it (daemonprocess.exe) in “Threat Detected” popup.

In “Threat Detected!” popup, I cannot see the full path where the virus (daemonprocess.exe) is. Fortunately enough, it did not affect my browser because it is located in windows.old folder.

Delete or remove Windows.old folder after Windows Upgrade in Windows 8 / 7 http://www.thewindowsclub.com/delete-remove-windows-old-folder

But it might take long time deleting windows.old folder.

But it might take long time deleting windows.old folder.
And ?

It is something you do one time

Ok. You mean I have to delete the windows.old file regardless of the size (my windows.old folder is larger than 2 GB)

did you read the instruction in the link i posted above …

Yes. I will notify you if it works or not.
