Win32:Patched-AKC [Trj]

Hello, everyone!

Since about a month ago, I’ve had this annoying virus that won’t go away. It started out one night when I was reading manga online; a tiny window popped up that didn’t have anything in it and went away before I could read what it was called, then my computer shut down. It would not start up unless I had it in Safety Mode, and after a few minutes of fiddling around with it, I eventually did a system restore. The computer does start up now, but for a few weeks, avast! kept alerting me that viruses were popping up, usually about three minutes after each other, and it was always the same few viruses. After doing some rootkit scans and using MBAM, I got rid of all but one virus. avast! picks Win32:Patched-AKC [Trj] up on Quick Scan, I try to repair or quarantine it, but it says it’s a read only file and it’s already being used by “32.”

I’ve never dealt with a virus before, but even my rudimentary fiddling hasn’t gotten rid of the trojan. I read through the logs tutorial and have attached all of the logs to this message. Thank you very much for your help!

malware removers are notified. it may take hours before one arrive so be patient

How’s your computer behaving now?

I deleted the .vir extension on the Lenovo program on Q drive, and then created the Notepad doc with the code on it…

Dragged it into ComboFix, and it started up as usual, but then a minute or two later, it just made this document, and then I couldn’t access anything online (the avast forum, Google, etc.) so then I just shut down and restarted my computer. Now the internet works, but…was this what was supposed to happen?

Yeah that’s it

It is necessary to uninstall ComboFix :

[*] Click Start (or
http://amf.mycity.rs/pg/images/VistaStartButton.png
) then Run.

On Windows7 or Vista you may use Start Search field if Run is not available.

[*] In the line of text type in (Copy) the following:

ComboFix /Uninstall

Note that there is a space between " ComboFix " and " /Uninstall " .

[*] then click OK (or press Enter ).

Wait for the uninstall process is complete.

Run OTL and hit the CleanUp button.

Okay! Just finished doing uninstalling ComboFix and cleaning it up with OTL. Should I turn avast back on and do a scan?

Should I turn avast back on and do a scan?

There is no need.

False positive is corrected

Well, thank you very much for helping me out! I super duper appreciate it!
