The log looks clean. Do you still have any symptoms?
You seem to be running a Symantec AV service. Do you still have Symantec installed? Two AV’s with on-access scanning will conflict. Recommend you uninstall Symantec and run a Symantec clean up utility.

The 017 entries are for RIPE Network Coordination Centre. The same thing pops up on my system under 017. Could it be a BT thing?
hi i have ran spybot, adaware, ewido venus spy trap and have avast residnet protection set to high, i have nothing to report!!
i thought i had uninstalled norton but obviously not, i will endeavour to now, many thanks for your help, hope i dont need it again!!

Why don’t you try Symantec tool for unintalling?
NAV is a pain to remove, harder than your average virus.
Check out this Norton Removal Links it should give you some help in removing the remnants of NAV.
