win32:rootkit-gen

I literally just made an Avast account today just to ask this question, so if I’m not posting this in the proper forum, ect then I apologize but anyway: today I let a friend borrow my computer while they were at my house visiting and when I got back I noticed that my avast had quarantined a win32:rootkit-gen in the downloads folder. I have no idea what my friend was doing to have that happen, but since its been quarantined and stuff is my computer okay now? I’m running a full system scan, but if nothing else comes up do I still have to worry about anything? Or is there any further action I should take to make sure my computer is okay?
