These are a real pain! I didn’t even know I had them until I install Avast!
Here are the logs asked for. (It will require two posts since the total file size limit is pretty small).
Thanks in advance …

The rest of the attachments. There was no “extras.txt” generated by OTL.
the extra.text is only created at first run…have you run OTL before ?
anyway it is not important, just some extra tech info of your computer
Yes, I did run it once before while reading some other forums, but I erased those files and started at the beginning of the instructions here.
At least that explains it!
Im on it

So far, so good! Avast hasn’t popped up since ComboFix finished (about 15 min).
I suppose I should uninstall MalwareBytes (which has a limited 15 day trial) since I am, after all, running Avast!
These must be some really tough viruses to need such a battery of tools to clean. I never would have been able to do this alone.
THANK YOU!
I’ve attached the logs, and once again will require two posts because of the file sizes.
The rest of the logs …

I suppose I should uninstall MalwareBytes (which has a limited 15 day trial) since I am, after all, running Avastnope, i would keep MBAM. when the trail is over you loose the auto update and protection module but it is still the best scanner/ remover to have alongside your AV
but…it only cost you a one time fee for a lifetime license.
You suggest keeping both Avast and MBAM, running simultaneously? No worries about performance degradation or conflicts?
I moved away from AVG because it became such a performance hit, especially on my older computers.
I’m willing to pony up if it’s really the best thing … especially after what I just went through!
