win32:SuspBehav-C [Heur] / windows vista home premium / please help me remove

On my main laptop: I was using Firefox and I clicked on a link thinking it was a recipe link, then Avast gives me a warning.
Apparently the damage was done. I have win32:SuspBehav-C [Heur]. The computer keeps rebooting. It doesn’t give me a lot of time either.
(Computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium.)

I read where it would be good to run the Avast scan and then let it put the nasty in the vault or whatever, but when I try to do that it only gets so far and then the pc reboots. If I leave the computer alone and do other things, I can hear it randomly rebooting now and then.

So, not only am I needing some help in removal of this nasty, I’m wondering how to accomplish it with the constant reboot.

Thank you.

What is the infected file name, where was it found e.g. (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx) ?
For detection on on-access scans, check C:\ProgramData\Alwil Software\Avast5\Report for the, WebShield.txt (most likely as it happened when browsing) or the FileSystemShield.txt (or BehaviorShield.txt).

i seriously doubt your VPS is up to date…

Please, upload (attach) the avast log:
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\Setup.log
or C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\Setup\setup.log

If the file is too big for the forum, post the last 400-500 lines of it.

download malwarebytes from here:
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

do a update and perform full scan and remove wht it finds.

try norton power eraser download link:
http://us.norton.com/support/DIY/index.jsp

also try this:

download AVPTool from [url=http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/][color=#FF0000]Here to your desktop

Run the programme you have just downloaded to your desktop (it will be randomly named )

First we will run a virus scan
On the first tab select all elements down to Computer and then select start scan
Once it has finished select report and post that.

Do not close AVPTool or it will self uninstall, if it does uninstall - then just rerun the setup file on your desktop

now remove whatever it finds.

@com155 why are you posting in a topic that is more then a month old ?

He has form for it, it is getting to be a pain in the rear. Not to mention the suggested tools are basically clutching at straws as there has been no analysis first.

Worse still one which the user has not responded to any of the previous posts.
