Win32:Tenga-B is destroying my computer!

It started a few months ago, when random files would bring up a virus message saying the file is infected with malware called “Win32:Tenga-B”.
I took the advice given and moved all the files to the virus chest.
Now this was great and all, but eventually it started infecting more and more files, including ones i knew for certain were not viruses, things like itunes and game executable files, so now whenever i try to open something that has been identified as one of these malware things, it brings up an error message saying i don’t have permission to open it.

Has avast destroyed my computer or is this some massively evil virus?

Here read this. Mind you I’m not suggesting to do the same as the author of the post. Just passing on information on what Tenga-B is.
