Hello I’m new here … But I have had Avast for years …
I have AVAST 4.6 on this puter
All of a suddan Tuesday afternoon i got a Virus when i was’nt online … Win32:Tojan-Ge
It’s in my Virus chest now …
it says it’s in my docments and settings, and in avast
avast will not clean it or remove it … I have deleted it from the chest and rebooted and scanned again it found it again …
I really need help getting this off my puter …

What were you doing at the time when it was detected ?
What was the file name, where was it found, full path, example (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx)?
What is your OS ?
If you have moved it to the chest it can’t do any harm from there, so something else must be going on.
So where was it found again and what was the file name ?
What type of internet connection do you have dial-up, ADSL, etc. ?
What is your firewall ?
Please don’t post multiple requests for help about the same topic, it just duplicates effort for those who try to help you.
