Win32 Trojan-Gen {Delphi}

Hello

Avast found this virus on my newly re-built pc. I was able to place it in the virus chest where I then deleted it. I have run the boot scan & all is clear. I’ve also installed Spyware Blaster & some other recommended tools to try & stop this from happening again.

Could you confirm that all is now o.k on my system? I’ve run HijackThis & have included the log file it generated.

Hi Sarah,

the HJT-Log shows no malware; this doesn’t necessarily Prove that your system is clean, but it’s a good indicator.

You might want to work through the link “VirusRemoval” below in my sig and:

  • try some other scanners for confirmation, e.g. ESCAN , TREND & RAV
  • make your system & browser more secure, e.g. use ZoneModel and disable activeX & Scripting except for known secure sites… :wink:
  • make sure you got all Windowsupdates
