avast found this trojan on my computer and its located in ISNSYS.dll in my WINDOWS folder so i dont know what to do with it…i tried to repair it but that did nothing and i am not sure if its ok to delete it since it is in my windows folder…i dont wanna screw up my computer by deleting a essential file and with my luck that would happen…anyone know what this is and how to remove it safely?
Trojans cannot be repaired since the are not the product of infection, but a standalone exectuable. Just delete it. If it doesn’t work, try Boot-Time scan or check Delete on next boot if required when deleting file via avast! popup warning window.
That file was found By command as infected with an unknown trojan on my computer some time ago. Here is what I did:
I booted into safe mode
Deleted the file
Searched the Regestry and deleted all entries linking to that file
I have not had a problem since.
ok thanks a lot for the help, i needed it
