I have just recently done a virus scan and have the above virus it shows up like this C:\System Volume Information_Restore{2FE2DC20-FF5C-4576-A144-A49CC45D9A10}\RP106 Running windows xp pro does anybody know how to get rid of this I have it in the virus chest but would like to get rid of it

You can delete the file by the delete command from dosbox, but it is easier to use a Dos Commander(like RAR/DOS). Or use this method, but than you will loose all your recoverypoints, not really dangerouse: http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDocs/DisableSysRestore.htm

Hm, here it works even with the Windowsexplorer!?
