Please help, like others in previous posts I have an apparent virus called win32: Trojan-gen (vc) except mine is located in my C:\Windows\system\winstart001.exe I have tried repairing it without any luck so any information I could be given on what to do would be greatly appreciated I am deathly afraid of trying the delete, thank you sincerely Chris
Please send us the file for analysis. Use, e.g., the address support@avast.com . The guys will take a look at it (on Monday).
But the name of the file (and it’s location, in the system folder) seems suspicous…
