i couldn’t repair or delete this virus , did avast can remove this virus,

hi! have you updated avast! look details in VPS 0440-2 29/9/2004.tell us about results

Run a boottime scan and tell us if that solved the problem.

Also tell us what file(s) are infected and what their location is.

I also have this virus and am not sure how to delete it! Also can anyone tell me if it is likely to have caused any major damage to my computer? Any advice gratefully received!

  • What OS are you using? is it up to date?
  • What email program are you using - if applicable?
  • avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
  • What was the virus name, what was the filename, where was it found
    example (C:\windows\system32\infected-filename.xxx)?
  • What actions have you taken to try and resolve the problem?
