Win32:Vitro detected in new Kingston Traveler USB drive

I have Avast Premier Security (paid). I inserted a new Kingston Traveler USB drive (16GB) which I opened from shrink-wrapped new packaging (which I have retained). I was alarmed to see that APS detected INF:Agent-D
in the Autorun.inf file and Win32:Vitro buried in the recycler in a file named tNilyKUw.exe. I have sent to Avast the file for analysis. I have Googled for other occurrences of infection of Kingston products without success. Anyone have any comments or similar experiences?
