Win32Trojan-gen in system volume information

Just did a scan and avast found 7 win32trojan-gens in the system volume information folder

6 of them have a different filename but identical location and one has a different ending by just 1 (all others end in RP481 and the last on ends in RP482)

All are in the chest and, I think inactive, but I’m just curious whether it is anything to worry about

From other posts I see that this is the system restore part of the drive, so I don’t know how bad this is.

Try turning off System Restore. Restart your computer and then turn in System Restore again.

This with remove the old restore points and then create a new restore point.

Do another scan with avast to see if these are detected again.

Did another scan and all is good - no hits

I’ll keep them in the chest and scan them in a week or two

Thanks CharleyO ;D ;D
