Win64:Dropper-gen clean up

I had already created a post at the following link about another problem with disabling the Avast shields that Eddy was really good at helping me with and I am creating a post here to finish cleaning up any left over malware that may have been installed by Win64:Dropper-gen:

https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=159486.0

If Malwarebytes only found a PUP should I still start creating logs or is my system free of malware?

It is up to you if you want that check or not…

HEYO! You helped me AvastUser20000! Thanks!

(Well, Eddy did, but you posted the link!)

I am having the same problem as I have read in other threads with aswMBR where it takes a long time to scan when quickscan is selected even if I choose none instead of quickscan initially. The C drive does have 279GB on it but should it take over 2 hours to scan the users folder even if it is 102GB?

Dropp aswMBR…if needed, removal team have other tools

Here are my logs so far.

If there are no problems then I think an uninstall avast free 2015, download avast free 2015, then reinstall avast free 2015 could solve the problems in the other thread with disabling shields and no active protection.

Go for a clean install

The Avast Reinstall has not only solved all the problems I was having. Not only are the false windows action center message and win64:dropper-gen boot scan error gone but I can disable and enable all shields and there is actually something under active protection in the Avast settings!

Now I do not have to reinstall windows and over 25+ Skyrim mods. ;D

Simple is usually best
