Hi, I’m getting an Avast pop-up with the title ROOTKIT BLOCKED every 5-10 minutes, with Action ‘Moved to chest’. File names are 80000000.@ and 800000cb.@ and the Virus Descriptions are as the subject title.
I’ve run MBAM, OTL and aswMBR as in the stickied thread and attached the logs.

Hi, I ran Combofix, but there were a couple of issues:
1 - Having rebooted into safe mode to run Combofix, I could not disable avast! self-defense module. (i.e go to Settings → Troubleshooting, unclick avast! self-defense module, click ok. Re-open Settings → Troubleshooting and it’s still checked). As I’d started Combofix by this point (I hadn’t realised that avast was still enabled) and there didn’t seem to be anyway to prevent it from running, I let Combofix run to completion.
2 - A couple of times in the Combofix screen output there were complaints that it needed to be run in an Administrator command prompt.
I’ve attached the log from combofix.
P.S. The reported symptoms do seem to have stopped though.
It’s okay, dont worry, I can see in CF logs that everything went as it should.
Also, Combofix is disinfect infected files and deleted malware. The logs are now clean.
ihad the same problem with Win64:Sirefef-A[Trj], and used ComboFix.
Can someone please have a look at the log file and tell if there has to be done mor to get rid of the probelm.
Until now, no more pop-ups of avast on my pc.
