Today, at TechEd, we are pleased to announce that by the end of July we will be releasing the public beta of Service Pack 1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7

(the other thread posted about it from an “Afghani” poster is full of misleading info)

If you’ve received auto updates right along, you’ll notice very little additional updates and no program features in SP1.

I know, they just mention some improvement with the remote desktop interface…which I hardly use tbh, + there are other solutions already if needed.
