Old news in a new wrapper?

Old news new wrapper, I don’t know.
But this kind of message from MS gets right up my nose:
“No action needed,” the users are advised. “Windows Update will offer this version of Windows 10 automatically when these settings are supported.”
The same bloody non descriptive message when trying to get 2004 about your device isn’t ready, etc. etc., but you don’t need to do anything.
I wish they would give a clear message on what the problem is and what THEY/YOU are/need to do about it.
Having supposedly got past that first message now we are on:
The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. Once it’s ready for your device, you’ll see the update available on this page.
Information on What’s not ready would be nice.
I feel like a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed on sh1t.
I feel the pain too. Bit like MS delaying until pc suffers a fatal hardware fault and is rendered beyond econonic repair. That will then be one less to update. :-[

My computer froze while I was doing a windows 10 update and now it won’t turn on. I tried with a boot disk but it doesn’t restore my system, it happened to you in the last update?
Use the boot disk to enter Recover Mode:
This is how Users can Enter Recovery Mode in Windows 10
Press F11 During the System Startup. …
- Enter Recover Mode With the Start Menu’s Restart Option. …
- Enter Recovery Mode With a Bootable USB Drive. …
- Select the Restart now Option. …
- Enter Recovery Mode With the Command Prompt.
- Once in Recovery Mode, Rollback to before the update. This has to be done within 10 days of the update.
