That doesn’t answer the question.

I felt it was pretty much forced (or by stealth) on us some time ago and we have had In Windows Ads/promo/pushing Edge. That for me is Microsoft abusing its position already.

Windows 10 is offering a confusing mess of Intel driver updates
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-is-offering-a-confusing-mess-of-intel-driver-updates/
https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/09/28/windows-10-is-pushing-old-drivers-updates-that-you-should-avoid/

Yes I would call that confusing, mine has a whole slew of them (see attached and that wasn’t all of them), which I think I saw a while ago and basically ignored. Outside of visiting Intel to see what driver updates were available. I’m very wary abut updating drivers as they are fraught with danger if a driver update fails.

Not sure how this will effect those with the latest win10 2004 version:

Applies to: Windows 10, version 1903, all editions Windows Server version 1903Windows 10, version 1909, all editionsWindows Server version 1909

I Have KB4577063 installed but not KB4577062, as far as I can tell in the windows update history.

Afaik, it won’t be an issue if you’re already on 2004.

No problem here, got that 5 days ago.

No problems here either. Bleeping computers likes to hit the panic button on occasion.

Just received a notice of a Windows ‘Feature Update’ on one machine and not the second one yet.
Holding off for now
