Hi there,
I took the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 yesterday. And immediately I started having problems with my internet connection. It’s a LAN connection through a router I know to be working just fine (other devices using it with no problems) into a Broadcom NetLink ™ Gigabit Ethernet adapter.
Every time I start my computer up, the internet is working just fine - no problems at all. But without fail, sometime in the next 15 minutes it cuts out with no connectivity whatsoever (and no discernible trigger).
Once it has cut out, Avast Premier 2015 tells me on the overview page that a…
“SecureDNS can’t run on this network”
I assume this must be linked… Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue, and if it’s something I can fix within Avast? Or is this likely to be an issue with Windows 10 itself?
