I’m trying to install Avast 4 on windows 2000 but each time he says he can’t find a dll library
What’s the exact message?
The program starts the installation but then it stops saying
“There was an error while completing the setup process”
If I click on “view setup log”, then I find, at the bottem of the list,
“ERROR: Direct move of file: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast 4\aswCmnOS.dll”
If you search the board for aswCmnOS.dll, won’t it help?
Nope, but I found the solution when I tried to do an internet scan.
To install you just have to boot in safe-mode
