windows 7 avast Internet security 7 is blocking outlook mail pls help

Hi im very new to this its even taken me 10mins how to even write a post
Micosoft outlook is being blocked by avast, if i disable the shields the mail comes thru
& im really at a loss

do you get any arror messages… what do they say?

receiving reported error (0x800ccc0f) the connection to the server was interupted
the server responded cannot connect to pop server 202.6… connect error 10060
