Hi all, I am new here. I was wondering if anyone has been having any issues with avast hanging up Windows 7 systems. I set up a fresh image of windows 7 on a PC (it even happens on xp I’ve noticed) and for some reason I notice a lot of computers are hanging up on “Please Wait…” I have to hard power the computer down, boot into safe mode, I’ll disable both Avast services, restart and it will not hang up anymore. I will run windows updates and there will be some there, but there are only a few of them. It will just sit there on Please Wait… forever… unless you hold down on the power button and disable the service. Has anyone found a permanent solution to this issue yet?? Thanks.
