Hi,

I use Windows 7 64 bits with FireFox9.

I downloaded the free aVast, which I appreciate very much.

However, if I do not deactivate the shields, I cannot access the internet.

Anyone a solution for this problem ?

You really should have started a new thread of your own in the avast free,pro,suite section since your post here has absolutely no relation to the subject matter of the thread let alone that this thread is also 11 months old, next time you’ll know :wink:

What AV did you have before avast and how did you remove ? did you use the vendors removal tool to cleanup leftovers ? what other security software is installed on the system ?
