Anyone knows if the avast mail shield scans the default mail application that comes in Metro UI of Windows 8 (Using IMAP)?

Good question. No Google hits found of relevance, but maybe this one: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=100196.0 Hoping at the very least this somehow is whole or part included in the web-shield function of Avast 7.
