Windows 8 Password Issue

Hi,

I have a friend who recently lost the password to her windows 8 computer. I’ve tried to reset her Microsoft account to a random password but that isn’t working. Microsoft said just to reset the PC. Which she isn’t willing to do. Do you guys know of a way to reset it? Britec posted a video. But I cna’t find the program he used.

Pondus, only the 3rd option could help. But the site is down?

Steven. I know, looked at those. One doesn’t have a DL. The other would be a little too complicated to pull off in a 1 hour tmie period since I’ve never down it and her computer is beyond words slow.
