Any idea when GrimeFighter will be able to support Windows 8?
I scanned for viruses in a Windows 8 machine using the free Avast software, and was curious about sluggishness, so I clicked on the GrimeFighter section. It scanned and told me buy to fix, with no reference to it not being compatible with Windows 8. I bought it and ran a boot-time scan. It said there was either an encrypted drive or no installed version of Windows. I am thinking that’s because it does not yet support Windows 8, so I was curious if there is a timeline for that support. I would just as soon keep the product, but only if it’s going to start working soon within my 12 month subscription period.
Why does the website indicate it doesn’t then? And, if it does, what would cause the program to not recognize a Windows installation on two different Windows 8 PCs?
