avast! antivirus 4.7.844 [VPS 0627-3] reports that it might be out of date.
My system clock is set correctly so I think it’s avast that’s lost track of the date. While it doesn’t sound like a genuine problem I’m curious to know if everybody else is getting the same message.
I’ve re-booted and it makes no difference. Not to worry, I can simply tell Windows Security Centre to stop monitoring it to remove the alert. I was just curious if everybody was getting the problem or just me - looks like its just me.
When you say the system clock is set correctly, I assume you also mean the day month and year as well as the time.
What does about avast say for the VPS version.
Try a repair of avast. Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button and scroll down to Repair, click next and follow. You need to be on-line to do this.
