Windows Defender Still Active after Installing Avast Free 22 06 06 Windows 10
I installed Avast Free today, and Windows Defender is still active - it wasn’t replaced by Avast as the Security Provider.
I would like to stop Windows Defender as it consumes over 1GB of RAM. Please guide me.

Did you restart your device after installing Avast Free?
Can you provide a screenshot of “Manage providers” (“Windows Security” > “Virus and threat protection” > “Manage providers”), please?
