I have installed Windows Defender on 2 machines
both running Avast4…
avast stopped updating on both systems.

I have uninstalled Defender and repaired Avast and it
is now ok with the latest update.

anyone else have this problem…or is there a way to set up
Defender as to not conflict with Avast.

I have searched the forum without finding any reference
to this problem.
I appreciate the help…Thanks

Windows Defender shouldn’t block avast update.
Please, can you follow the steps here (http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=24107.msg198075#msg198075) and posts the results?

I have followed all these instructions before
but the problem persists.

I will try to reinstall defender and see what happens
