Windows Defender in Windows 10 blocks my Avast Free Antivirus. It is imposible to run Avast now. Is there any way how to set Avast as a first and only one antivirus? There is a option dialog looks exactly for this, but you cant click on Avast and set it as a default antivirus. There is no way to shut WD down, it is allways turn on again.

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
