Windows doesn't likt avast update?

I just got the latest update for the Avast Virusscanner (Home). Now my icon of Windows Security center has come up, saying the antivirus progam is out of date. What’s happening? ???

Is your avast! fully updated and is your system clock/date correct ?

Correct the date and try to re-enter your registration number if required. Then update avast! again.
That should do the trick.

Thanks. Strange…yesterday the date was OK.

i reset once my bios (setting date to 2001) and forgot change it… u can’t image the woes with avast and 5 other programs which check this for licences :))
