Does anyone know whether Avast Pro Program Version 7.0.1426 has a firewall?

Is it OK to run the Windows Firewall concurrently with Avast Pro Program Version 7.0.1426?

I’m not certain if the Avast Web Shield or Behavior Shield constitutes a firewall.

Avast Pro is the professional Anti-Virus software.
Avast Internet Security (AIS) contains the Firewall Component. :wink:

But here in my new install the firewall is not activ and the window’s firewall is activ…

the question: how activate the Avast’s Firewall​:spades::spades:

What antivirus and firewall did you have installed before installing Avast Internet Security ?

The fire wall is the window’s of microsoft…
And the AV is Avast and old version free now i have installed the same of my portable Avast internet security

OK, probably best to do a clean reinstall of AIS:

  • Download the latest version of avast, 7.0.1426 AIS http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe and save it to your HDD, somewhere you can find it again (if you didn’t save your last download). Use that when you reinstall.

  • Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, aswClear.exe find it here and save it to your HDD (it has uninstall tools for 5.x, 6.0.x and 7.0.x).

    1. Now uninstall avast! (using add remove programs, if you can’t do that start from the next step), reboot.- 2. run the avast! Uninstall Utility from safe mode, first for 6.x if previously installed and then for 7.0, once complete reboot into normal mode.- 3. install the latest version, reboot.
