windows firewall warns avast is outdated

Hi all,

I have updated avast to the new version of avast (4.7.826).
But my windows firewall always says “your virus protection is not updated” and shows me a red shield icon in the tray.

Any suggestions why? Any help?

this message usually comes from the security centre rather than the firewall and can be caused by several issues .
sometimes the clock or date can be wrong , sometimes windows itself has a flaw which causes this.
can I suggest you search the forum using the term “virus protection not updated” and see what comes up.
